  1. 0.21.1

    12 Oct 2026
    • Photos for your models, easy to find: a model's page now always shows where its front and rear photos go. «Add front photo» and «Add rear photo» take you straight to the upload, and a catalogue model tells you that «Duplicate» makes your own copy that accepts them. With a photo, every device of that model is drawn with its real face in the rack.
  2. 0.21.0

    12 Oct 2026
    • The rack drawing, redone: drawn at real size so every name can be read, with a colour per family (network, power, compute) and the icon of each device type. Three ways to look at it, as in NetBox: photos and names, photos only, or a clean diagram. Both faces side by side, and on a phone one face at a time.
    • Layers on the rack: one switch over the drawing paints each device by what matters without moving anything — status and power (which PDU or line feeds each power supply, and redundancy that is not real), «What goes down?» (pick a breaker, line, UPS or PDU and the rack greys out what would not survive), power draw, and notices and where the data came from.
    • Working on the rack: dragging a device warns before it overlaps another and can be undone, the list of devices sits next to the drawing, a tooltip shows each device, and the drawing can be downloaded as SVG.
    • The server room as the front page of Racks: every rack in a row at the same scale, front or rear, with the same photo modes.
    • The small things in a rack: blanking panels, cable managers, brush panels and shelves, which never count as devices. «Cover gaps» fills a rack with blanking panels that give the space back as soon as a device goes there; «Equip other racks like this one» sets up a whole row at once; and 0U devices mounted on the side are drawn next to the cabinet.
    • Patch panels: ports by ranges, to change their type or take them out of the mirror in one go.
    • Easier first steps: pressing Enter in quick add creates the device and offers Undo; a site, vendor, location or model can be created without leaving the form; a device's IP can be typed right on its port; and ports are sorted 1, 2, 10 instead of 1, 10, 2.
  3. 0.20.0

    12 Oct 2026
    • Fill a rack from its drawing: hovering over a free unit highlights it with its number, and clicking it opens «Add at U20» right on top of the rack. Put there a device you already have — one click, and it takes the rack's site and location — or create a new one with its name and, if you like, its catalogue model, and you are back at the rack with the device drawn. If it does not fit, it tells you whom it would overlap before you place it.
    • Devices with no site can now go into a rack: a device created with just its name used to be left out, which left no way to put it in a rack. «Add device here» and «Where something fits» open the same panel.
    • Adding a device with a rack chosen now shows the rack's site, and asks «Already exists?» when there are unplaced devices that could be the same one.
  4. 0.19.0

    12 Oct 2026
    • Enable SNMP on a device that only answers over SSH: when the agent got into a switch or firewall over SSH but it never answered SNMP, the review tray and the device's page offer «Enable SNMP». It shows the exact commands for that vendor family (27 families, read-only SNMP, v2c or SNMPv3), with the agent's address and the site already filled in, plus the one thing to check before pasting (for example, on FortiOS «set allowaccess» replaces the whole list of services).
    • What you type on that page — the community or the SNMPv3 passwords — never leaves your browser: it only fills in the commands. Nothing is run on the device by Cenya; you paste the commands yourself and the next sweep, or «Analyze», confirms the device now answers SNMP.
  5. 0.18.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • Discovered devices now get their catalogue model: before you accept a device in the review tray, it shows which model of your catalogue (or of the public library) it is. When the match is exact it is linked as you accept; when it is only likely — for example a Dell switch recognised by its SNMP identity — accepting asks: is it this one, look for another, or no model for now.
    • Create the model from what the agent saw: if the model is in neither your catalogue nor the library, add it right there, with the ports the agent read from the device as its template. The next device of that model gets its ports even if no agent ever reads it.
    • Devices that came in without a model propose it on their page — «Is it a Dell PowerConnect 5548? Yes, it is · Choose another…» — and setting it takes one click. The device keeps the ports the agent saw.
  6. 0.17.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • Sites that repeat addresses: if your offices use the same range (for example both on 192.168.1.0/24), you can treat each site as a separate network. What an agent sees is then only compared with the devices of its own site, so a device in one office is never mixed up with another device that has the same IP in another office. The serial number still recognises a device anywhere in the company.
    • Subnets you don't want swept: a sweep profile can now leave ranges out, for example cover 192.168.0.0/16 except the 192.168.1.0/24 that belongs to another site. The screen shows exactly which networks the agents will receive, and it works with every agent version.
    • Device alerts (a cabled port going down, a serial number that changes) are no longer sent by e-mail: they stay in the device's change log and in Notices, so a large network no longer floods your inbox.
  7. 0.16.2

    11 Oct 2026
    • QNAP: the shared volumes of a QNAP now enter the inventory with their real size and RAID (for example «Data, 2.9 TB, mirror»), which is what matters on a QNAP used as a file server.
    • QNAP over SNMP: its power supplies with their status, its serial number and its firmware version, even without the QNAP credential.
    • Configuration backups of switches that take several seconds to start answering (for example Dell N-series) are no longer mistaken for a user without privileges.
  8. 0.16.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • QNAP arrays: a new «QNAP QTS» credential lets the agent read a QNAP — model, serial number, QTS version, its addresses and its iSCSI targets and LUNs with the hosts allowed to reach them. The provisional array an ESXi host created on seeing its iSCSI portal merges with it.
  9. 0.15.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • Two views of the inventory, Verified and Live, with a switch in the header. Verified shows only what people typed in or imported; Live adds everything the agent found. Each person's choice is remembered.
    • Mark as verified: one click on a device, or on many at once from the list, turns what the agent found or filled in — with its ports, addresses and power — into your own data. From then on the agent never overwrites it.
    • Nothing disappears silently: in Verified, the rack, the cable routes, the power tree and the dependency trace still show what the agent found, marked «Not verified», instead of leaving an unexplained gap.
    • A device's history now shows what came with a change, and pages no longer fail on devices whose power supplies came from the catalogue.
  10. 0.14.1

    11 Oct 2026
    • Hosts on a VMware distributed switch (vDS): each physical card now carries the VLANs of the switch's port groups too, not only those of standard vSwitches.
  11. 0.14.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • VMware hosts arrive with their physical network cards (vmnic): MAC, speed and whether the link is up, plus the VMkernel interfaces and the management IP.
    • The switch and the port each card is plugged into, as the host hears it over CDP or LLDP: the cable from the server to the switch is proposed in the review tray, like the ones SNMP sees.
    • Hosts arrive with their exact ESXi version and build, logical cores and memory, so the allocated vCPU and RAM have something to be compared with.
    • Each physical card carries the VLANs of the port groups it serves.
    • Fibre Channel: a datastore on a fibre array now enters the inventory, linked to its array by WWN, with the vendor read from the WWN and the WWN of the host card. WWNs can also be typed by hand on the volume and on each presentation.
    • A host already in the inventory gains all of this with the next sweep, without accepting anything again.
    • Configuration backups: when the agent got into a device but the device refused to show its configuration (for example, an SSH user without enough privilege), the device's Configurations tab now says so, with the date and the reason, instead of promising that the first copy will arrive on its own.
  12. 0.13.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • Importing a spreadsheet or a NetBox now recognises a device by its IP address too: a row whose address already belongs to a device with another name asks whether it is the same one, instead of creating it twice.
    • The empty home page now shows the three ways to start in order, numbered: first bring what you already have, then let an agent complete it, and only if you have nothing, add your first site by hand.
    • After an import, the report suggests the next step: install an agent, which adds model, serial, ports and IP to what you brought and recognises it instead of creating it again.
  13. 0.12.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • Remote management cards (Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO) are recognised during discovery and attached to their server as its management port, instead of appearing as a separate device.
    • Clusters and hosts reported by vCenter now also reach servers and virtual machines that were already in the inventory.
    • Faster portals: pages no longer pause for several seconds.
    • Discovery: when you have several agents, an analysis now says which agent ran it, so a device that only answers one of them is easy to spot.
  14. 0.11.1

    11 Oct 2026
    • Configuration backups: comparing two copies now looks like a code review — both copies shown in full, changes highlighted, and device error messages left out of the comparison.
  15. 0.11.0

    10 Oct 2026
    • Device change log: the agent records what changed on each device (VLANs, firmware, neighbours, configuration) and the device list shows the last change.
    • Alerts for changes that should not happen by themselves (serial number, model, a cabled port going down), by e-mail, and for devices that stopped answering.
    • Storage discovery: Synology and TrueNAS arrays with their volumes, RAID and who they are presented to; virtual machine → datastore → LUN → array traced end to end.
    • Virtual machines arrive with their network cards, MAC, IP and VLAN, grouped by cluster.
    • Configuration backups for 27 device families.
    • Configuration backups: a new copy is only kept when the configuration really changes, not when the device just rewrites a date in it.
    • Passwords and keys inside configuration copies are hidden on screen until someone asks to see them.
    • A discovered device is matched to its existing record by serial number, even if its IP address or name changed.
    • A server the sweep only sees from outside joins the virtual machine the hypervisor already reported, instead of appearing twice.
  16. 0.10.0

    8 Oct 2026
    • Settings → License shows which version is installed.
    • Interfaces keep the real type, admin state and LAG the agent reads.
    • Power supplies and outlets come from the device model in the catalogue.
    • Locations as a tree, with quick assignment.

Cenya Agent

  1. 0.18.1

    11 Oct 2026
    • QNAP, adjusted to a real TS-364: the advertised IQN prefix is no longer taken for a target, the default access policy is not a host, and the QNAP's own volumes come with their size and RAID.
    • QNAP over SNMP: power supplies with their status, serial number and firmware.
    • Configuration backup waits until the device starts answering, and the backup session lasts up to three minutes.
  2. 0.18.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • QNAP arrays (QTS and QuTS hero): model, serial, firmware, addresses, and iSCSI targets and LUNs with their initiators.
    • New command `cenya-agent qnap-dump`: saves what a QNAP answers (read-only, without password or session) so the reader can be checked against a real device.
  3. 0.17.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • vCenter: the VLANs of the port groups of each distributed switch (vDS), on every physical card that serves it. Trunks count by their ranges; the uplink group and private VLANs are left out.
  4. 0.16.0

    11 Oct 2026
    • vCenter: physical cards (vmnic), VMkernel interfaces and the management IP of every ESXi host.
    • vCenter: the switch and port behind each card, over CDP or LLDP.
    • vCenter: exact ESXi version, logical cores, memory and the VLANs of each card; the cluster is also read as the parent of the host, as a fallback.
    • vCenter: the WWNs of every Fibre Channel datastore, of the array and of the host card.
  5. 0.15.3

    11 Oct 2026
    • vCenter 7.0 U2 and later: every ESXi host appears in its cluster and every virtual machine on its host.
  6. 0.15.2

    10 Oct 2026
    • Configuration backup over SSH for 14 more families (27 in total), including Cisco ASA, Arista, Palo Alto, SonicWall, WatchGuard, pfSense, OPNsense and OpenWrt.
    • Enters privileged mode before copying, and the enable password is only ever sent to the enable prompt.
  7. 0.15.1

    9 Oct 2026
    • Time limit per SSH step and installer retry.
  8. 0.15.0

    9 Oct 2026
    • Synology DSM and TrueNAS: volumes, RAID and who they are presented to.
    • Exact operating system from Active Directory.
    • Watches configuration changes over SNMP and copies them immediately.
    • Windows without WinRM: WMI over DCOM.

    8 Oct 2026
    • vCenter: hardware of each ESXi host and origin of each datastore.
    • Identifies devices without SNMP or credentials through NetBIOS, UPnP and mDNS.
  10. 0.13.0

    8 Oct 2026
    • Hypervisors: cluster, hardware, network cards, addresses and datastores of every VM.
    • Power supplies over SNMP, with their status.
    • Identifies servers without credentials.
    • Configuration backup for Extreme EXOS, Ruckus ICX, Allied Telesis and Ubiquiti EdgeOS.
  11. 0.12.0

    8 Oct 2026
    • Vendor profiles over SNMP: what each device is.
    • LLDP and CDP neighbours with their management address.
    • ARP and MAC tables over SSH for firewalls and switches without SNMP.
  12. 0.11.0

    3 Oct 2026
    • Runs as a service with on-demand tasks.
    • Sealed credentials: encrypted in your browser for each agent.
    • Signed installation and automatic updates.
